BRIN Nets Direct Assessment From The Community Regarding The Quality Of MBG

JAKARTA - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has taken proactive steps to bring national priority programs closer, Free Nutrition Food (MBG), to the public by distributing 100 servings of menus on the Motor Vehicle Free Day (HBKB) Depok, West Java, on Sunday, November 16. This activity aims to ask the public to directly assess the quality of the menu presented.

Head of the BGN Legal and Public Relations Bureau, Khairul Hidayati, explained that the event was an open dialogue space for BGN and the public regarding the standard content of the turnover (armed with food) program.

"We want to make sure the public can see, try, and assess the quality of the MBG menu. This is part of BGN's commitment to continue to increase public trust in the program," Hida said, quoted from ANTARA, Monday, November 17, 2025.

He also hopes that this interactive activity can encourage the public not only as a beneficiary but also participate in supervising the running of programs in the field to be more optimal.

Woku Chicken Wins Rating 9/10

Visitors to Car Free Day (CFD) have the opportunity to taste the MBG menu, get balanced nutrition education, and understand the benefits of each food component. The 100 serving menu is supported by the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) Pasir Putih, Sawangan, and SPPG Tirtajaya, Sukmajaya.

This activity that took place lightly attracted the attention of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission IX Expert, Nur Widyana, who gave high appreciation.

"Apresiasi untuk BGN karena sudah membuat kegiatan seperti ini yang bisa menghilangi ketidakan masyarakat atas berita tidak amannya MBG. Semoga dengan ini, yang positif bisa lebih tersosialisasikan dan anak-anak bisa mendapatkan nutrienti lebih baik," kata Nur Widyana.

He even gave an assessment or rating of nine out of 10 for the menu he tried, consisting of chicken woku, beans, and oranges.

The enthusiasm of the Depok community is also very high, with many visitors giving positive reviews.

One of the residents, Rini (29), admitted that she was surprised by the quality of the menu presented. "I think the free menu is usually simple, but it turns out that there is protein complete, there are vegetables and it tastes good. My son will like it," he said.

Another visitor, Salsa (22), hopes that similar activities can be held more often. "It's really fun, you can try to directly turn MBG. The program is good, it has to be like this often so that people understand more," he said.
