62 MBG Kitchens in Tangerang Regency Stop Operating, Waiting for Budget Disbursement

Tangerang - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) of Tangerang Regency, Banten, reported that 62 kitchens of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in the area had temporarily stopped operating while waiting for budget disbursement.

"In total, 62 SPPG stopped, because most of them have not disbursed the budget," said BGN Regional Coordinator for Tangerang Regency Priyo Basuki, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, June 11.

He said the termination of the SPPG kitchen operations in a number of sub-districts in Tangerang Regency had taken place in the past week, with the excuse that the budget had not been disbursed from the Central BGN.

"It has been happening since this week, most of the SPPGs have stopped because the budget has not been reduced. But for the new SPPGs, it will run," he said.

According to him, the operational recovery at the SPPG kitchen was after the operational funds were sent to each SPPG by the Central BGN.

In this case, Priyo explained that in Tangerang Regency there were 295 SPPG with a total coverage of 750,220 beneficiaries.

It is known that the budget or incentives for the flagship program of President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto are regulated based on the decision of the Head of BGN regarding the technical guidance for the management of MBG.

The basis for the calculation is the value of Rp. 6 million per day obtained from the estimated cost of land rental facilities, kitchen buildings, warehouses, modern cooking utensils, and others at Rp. 2,000 per portion multiplied by the maximum service capacity of 3,000 beneficiaries.

The incentive is given for 313 days a year, minus the weekends in a year or 365 days and paid a maximum of every two weeks of operation.

The three BGN leaders were officially inaugurated through Presidential Decree RI Number 18/M Year 2026 dated June 8, 2026 yesterday. The three of them are BGN Head Naniek Sudaryati Deyang and his two deputies, Major General TNI Trenggono and Agustina Arumsari.
