JAKARTA - The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) expressed its appreciation to the Directorate of Registration and Identification (Ditregident) of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) for various public service innovations that have made it easier for the public to access police services.
This appreciation was conveyed by the Assistant Deputy for Digital Transformation of Public Services at Kemenpan-RB, Yanuar Ahmad, while delivering material at the Korlantas Polri Ditregident's National Working Meeting held at the Aryaduta Hotel in Bandung on November 11-13.
In his remarks, Yanuar Ahmad assessed innovations such as the E-BPKB (E-Vehicle Registration Certificate), the SIGNAL application, and SINAR as real breakthroughs that have successfully provided fast, easy, and transparent public services to the Indonesian National Police.
He also encouraged the Korlantas Polri Ditregident to strengthen system integration towards the Digital Public Service Mall (MPP), a major Kemenpan-RB program to realize integrated public services across agencies.
"We appreciate the increased innovation in public services implemented by the Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri)'s Directorate of Identity. Going forward, we hope the Polri will continue to play an active role in supporting the implementation of the Digital Public Service Mall so that the public can access various services within a single, integrated digital platform," said Yanuar Ahmad.
Yanuar emphasized the importance of continuously increasing innovation to ensure public services remain adaptive to technological developments and public needs.
He also emphasized the importance of cross-agency data and system integration to achieve interoperability in public services, allowing inter-agency systems to share data securely and efficiently.
Furthermore, he emphasized that maintaining sustainable public trust is key to the success of bureaucratic reform, as public satisfaction and trust are key indicators of the effectiveness of public services.
He said that although public satisfaction with police services has increased, the biggest challenge remains maintaining public trust amidst social dynamics and digital developments.
"Public satisfaction can increase, but trust must be continuously maintained. Public trust is the key to the success of bureaucratic reform," he emphasized.
Interoperability and Digital Public Service Mall
Interoperability, according to Yanuar, is the ability of various government systems and applications to work together, exchange data, and share functionality securely and automatically. This concept is the main foundation for building a Digital Public Service Mall, where the public can access various services from the central government, regional governments, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), and the private sector on a single online platform without having to visit a physical office.
This transformation is part of the national strategy for digital bureaucratic reform, which requires collaboration across all agencies, including the National Police (Polri), in building more efficient, faster, and transparent public services.
Commitment of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps' Directorate of Identity
Responding to the appreciation, Brigadier General Wibowo, Director of the Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri), expressed his gratitude for the support from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) and reaffirmed his staff's commitment to continued innovation in the era of digital public services.
"We are grateful for the appreciation and trust shown. The Korlantas Polri Directorate will continue to strengthen the integration of public service systems, develop community-oriented innovations, and maintain public trust through precise, adaptive, and modern services," said Brigadier General Wibowo.
Brigadier General Wibowo emphasized that the Korlantas Polri Directorate is ready to become part of the Digital Public Service Mall ecosystem to provide easier, faster, and more integrated police services with various other government agencies.
In the spirit of bureaucratic reform and the Polri's digital transformation, the Korlantas Polri Directorate is committed to continuously providing superior, transparent, and reliable public services to ensure the satisfaction and trust of the Indonesian people.
