Improvement Of SDN 01 Harapan Island Never Budgeted, Gerindra To Pramono: Please Don't Just Promise

JAKARTA - The chairman of the Gerindra Party faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Setyoko, submitted his complaint to the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, in a plenary meeting to ratify the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on the DKI Jakarta Regional Budget for Fiscal Year 2026.

In the interruption of the plenary meeting which was also attended by Pramono, Setyoko highlighted that the promise of DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung to repair the SDN 01 Harapan building, Seribu Islands.

"We are waiting for the 2025 revised budget not to enter. Then, in 2026, the budget for the construction of a damaged school on Pulau Seribu will not be included. This track record proves, please don't (just) give us a promise," said Setyoko at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Wednesday, November 12.

Setyoko then reminded Pramono that he had promised that by mid-2025 he would repair SDN 01 Pulau Harapan. However, this promise has not yet been realized, either in the 2025 Revised APBD or in the 2026 APBD draft.

"I only remind the Governor, in 2025, around June, May, promised to build, repair schools damaged SDN 01 on Harapan Island," said Setyoko.

Setyoko assessed that the slow handling of educational facilities in the Thousand Islands reflects the DKI Provincial Government's lack of attention to the island area which is part of Jakarta's administrative section.

He emphasized that the condition of SDN 01 Pulau Harapan has been damaged for a long time and needs to be repaired immediately so that teaching and learning activities are not disturbed. According to him, the people there have been waiting for real evidence for a long time, not just a development promise.

"We are also worried that your staff, your teams, will give us the same promise, and promise the Governor the same," he said.

For information, the DPRD and the DKI Provincial Government have ratified the 2026 APBD Draft with a value of IDR 81.3 trillion. This figure is down from the initial plan of around IDR 95 trillion due to a profit-sharing fund of IDR 15 trillion.

In a meeting of the DKI DPRD Budget Agency with the DKI Jakarta Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) some time ago, the Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency Atika Nur Rahmania, revealed that the project that was in danger of being delayed from the 2026 APBD allocation was physical infrastructure development.

Some of them are the construction of local government buildings in a number of locations, reducing the number of health centers rehabilitated from 12 to 5 locations, reducing school rehabilitation from 22 to 5 locations and 1 rehabilitation of cultural heritage schools, to increasing the breakwater of Muara Angke Port.

"It is an option to which one is postponed according to the inspectorate audit which is currently running in the realization of the 2024-2025 activity as one of the basis for considering the postponement of activities in the 2026 RAPBD," explained Atika.
