The Identity Of The Man With The T-shirt "Man Jadda Wa Jada" Who Was Found Rotting In Cibatu Garut Is Still Mysterious

Garut Resort Police (Polres) opened a complaint post for people who lost family members, as a step to reveal the identity of a mysterious corpse found in a hut in Cibatu District, Garut Regency, West Java.

"Yes, please, if anyone feels lost coming to the office (Garut Police), we will check the DNA later," said Head of the Garut Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Joko Prihatin in Garut, Antara, Wednesday, November 12.

He explained that the police had conducted a crime scene investigation (TKP) and examined a number of witnesses regarding the discovery of the man's body in Salagedang Village, Cibatu Village/District, last Friday.

However, until now, the identity of the victim is still unknown. The body has been autopsied at dr. Slamet Garut for further investigation purposes.

"The results of the autopsy have not yet been released, they are still under investigation. The status is still Mr. X," said Joko.

From the results of the initial examination, the victim was found to be male, with a height of about 170 centimeters and estimated to be in his 40s. When found, the victim was wearing a black t-shirt with the words Man Jadda Wa Jada on the front, black trousers, and shoes.

Joko emphasized that his party continues to carry out investigations to reveal the identity of the victim and the cause of death.

Previously, local residents reported a pungent odor from the hut in the residents' garden area.

After being examined, they found the bodies of the men in a hanging position, with their feet touching the floor and the body's condition had rotted until the bones were visible.

"We urge people who feel they have lost their family members to immediately report to the Garut Police for the identity matching process," said Joko.
