JAKARTA - Two groups were involved in fierce clashes in the Cengkareng area, West Jakarta, Monday, November 10, 2025.

According to information, the clashes were a group of mass organizations with eagle eye groups allegedly related to the withdrawal of vehicles.

West Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief, AKBP Tri Suhartanto said the incident began with a misunderstanding between the two groups.

"So the information obtained, this started from a misunderstanding from these two groups, until there was a dispute and they attacked one of the groups," he said when confirmed.

Waka Polres said that currently the two parties who had disagreements were successful in restraining themselves.

"Alhamdulillah, until now, the two groups have been in a conducive and peaceful state. So there is no longer any misunderstanding and hopefully this dispute will not spread anywhere," he said.

The police confirmed that there were no casualties as a result of clashes between the two groups.

"Until now there have been no victims. So it needs to be conveyed to the community to calm down and there is nothing wrong," he said.

Meanwhile, the joint apparatus of the West Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim and Cengkareng Police were dispatched to the location to secure the location. Meanwhile, the case is still being handled by the West Jakarta Metro Police.
