KPAI: Explosion Victims At SMAN 72 Jakarta Will Get Medical Rehabilitation And Psychosocial

JAKARTA - Commissioner of the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), Diyah Puspitarini said, his party will continue to provide assistance to post-incident children that occurred at SMAN 72 Jakarta, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

"We together with Ministries and Institutions will continue to assist children and oversee this case until we get the fairest possible justice," said Diyah, Sunday, November 9, 2025.

Diyah also appreciated the handling of the Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital (RSIJ) which has provided medical rehabilitation for children.

"Later on, there will be psychosocial rehabilitation," he said.

Just so you know, the victims of the explosion at SMAN 72 Jakarta, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta reached 96 victims.

A total of 11 students of SMAN 72 Jakarta who were victims of another explosion suffered minor injuries and were evacuated to the Kamling Post or multipurpose room RT 07/02, Kelapa Gading Barat Village, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, after the incident.

"There are about 11 people (treated) here. Most of their eyes run away and their ears are lacking. For small injuries, I opened them to the post here. Earlier, the children walked here," said Head of RT 07, Krissensiana Orol Hotmatua to VOI, Friday, November 7th.

Meanwhile, the seriously injured victim, he continued, was brought by the Navy Health Center in Kodamar.

"Then he was referred to the Cempaka Putih Hospital, Pertamina Hospital and Yarsi Hospital," he said.
