Police Hunt Gang Of Robbers Gasak Tens Of Millions In Pademangan

JAKARTA - Police are hunting a group of robbers in action in pademangan area, North Jakarta, this afternoon. The group raised tens of millions.

"At 10.30 pm, this afternoon, there have been 365 (or) cases of robberies on Jalan Pademangan, North Jakarta, which are indicative of 4 perpetrators. This is still under way," Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Chief Kombes Yusri Yunus told reporters on Friday, May 21.

In this robbery, Yusri continued, the perpetrators managed to raise money worth Rp25 million. The assailant also shot the victim.

For now, the victim has been taken to a hospital. Because, there is a projectile lodged in his leg as a result of being shot by the perpetrator.

"There was one victim initially C suffered a gunshot wound because the perpetrator had a firearm and managed to take rp25 million in cash and a mobile phone," he said.

In handling this case, the police are still conducting a crime scene (tkp). Police are seeking a range of information relating to the offender.

Starting from finding CCTV cameras installed around the scene to identifying shell casings were carried out.

"This is still done by the crime scene by jatanras team of Polda Metro Jaya. We're still after the man in question. Hopefully we will quickly uncover this case," Yusri said.
