Doctor Tifa Claims To Be Ready To Undergo Legal Process After Determination Of Suspect

JAKARTA - Doctor Tifauzia Tyassuma or Doctor Tifa stated that he was ready to undergo the legal process after being named a suspect in the defamation case of Jokowi's alleged fake diploma by the Metro Jaya Police, Friday, November 7, 2025.

"I respect and respect the legal process. Personally, I am ready to be born and bathin," he said when contacted by VOI.

Tifa said that he would hand over the entire legal process to his legal team. He hopes that the legal process will take place clearly.

"This way the process will take place clearly. Where the truth must stand," he said.

Until now, Tifa believes that what he has been trying to do so far is related to the alleged fake diploma, a struggle in finding the truth.

He considered that the current status of the suspect was an obstacle in a struggle.

"The fight for the truth will surely pass a steep and winding road," he said.

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya named eight suspects in the case of defamation and slander related to the alleged fake diploma of the 7th former President Joko widodo (Jokowi).

This was conveyed by the Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Asep Edi Suheri, at Polda Metro Jaya on Friday, November 8, 2025 morning.

"Determine eight people as suspects in cases of defamation, slander, hate speech, incitement of editing and manipulation of electronic data through social media, namely reported by Mr. Ir. H Joko Widodo," he said.

It is known that the eight suspects were divided into two clusters.

Among the five suspects in the first cluster were lawyer Eggi Sudjana (ES), Kurnia Tri Rohyani (KTR), M. Rizal Fadillah (MRF), Rustam Effendi (RE), and Damai Hari Lubis (DHL).

Meanwhile, the second cluster consists of three names, namely former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Roy Suryo (RS), Tifauziah Tyassuma alias dr. Tifa (TT), and digital forensic expert Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar (RHS).

Asep Edi said that the determination of the suspect was based on the results of the assistance and case title held at the Ditreskrimum Building of the Polda Metro Jaya yesterday.

"This application is carried out after going through an assistance process and a case title where the process involves experts and supervisors both externally and internally," he said.
