KASAD Maruli: Soldiers Must Not Betray, Stand Up For The Nation And The State

PALEMBANG KASAD General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak emphasized that soldiers' upright commitment to the nation and state must not change any situation. This affirmation was conveyed by Maruli when giving directions to soldiers, civil servants, and Persit at Makodam II/Sriwijaya, Palembang, Wednesday 5 November.

"The army must not betray. Everything is straight. Don't be influenced by gossip or any influence. We are committed to being soldiers," he stressed. He said solidity is the key to maintaining state stability. If we are united, there will be nothing in Indonesia.

Kasad also ensured that improving the welfare of soldiers continued to be a priority for the leadership of the Indonesian Army. The housing program, including the rehabilitation of official houses and private homes of soldiers through BP TWP, is said to continue.

After the briefing, Maruli visited the Sekojo Military Dormitory. He saw firsthand the results of the rehabilitation of 157 official houses carried out by self-management of Kodam II/Sriwijaya, including those in the Bangka area. Kasad also handed over the keys to the official residence to the recipient soldiers.

In addition, Kasad visited the urban farming area of the Sekojo Aspiration Park which supports the operation of the Healthy Kitchen of the National Nutrition Agency. He also topping off the construction of the Medical Check Up Polyclinic and executive inpatient facilities at Tk II Hospital, dr. AK Gani Palembang.

Maruli expressed his appreciation to Kodam II/Sriwijaya for the concrete steps to improve the operational readiness and welfare of soldiers through strengthening housing, health facilities, and territorial development.

In a series of visits to the Kodam II/Sriwijaya area, Kasad is also scheduled to close the 126th TMMD at Kodim 0404/Muara Enim on Thursday (6/11/2025).
