BADUNG - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) revealed that the number of Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) in Bali is still not sufficient for all schools because it still requires a lot of SPPG.

Deputy for Systems and Governance of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Tigor Pangaribuan when met in Badung, Bali, Wednesday said the SPPG target in Bali reached more than 330, but currently only 109 SPPGs are operating.

"In Bali, there are currently around 109 operational. We hope that later the target of the 330s can be achieved soon this year. But currently only one-third of it is," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 5.

He mentioned the lack of SPPG in Bali due to many factors ranging from funding to locations.

"Because in Bali, if you want to build a SPPG, you need funds, you need locations, you also need rules for beneficiaries. So everyone must understand the rules," he said.

Therefore, he hopes that there will be additional SPPG partners to serve the needs of beneficiaries in Bali.

Tigor appreciates all SPPGs that have been operating in Bali because they are considered competent and professional in managing SPPG so that there are no problems such as food poisoning.

"In Bali so far it is very encouraging, there is no prominent incident, there are no incidents where children are poisoned. They (SPPG) diligently carry out according to the rules," he said.

In addition, the SPPG manager in Bali is considered ready to carry out the tasks according to the technical instructions outlined by BGN.

"Here (Bali) is indeed the person, especially the volunteers who are doing this job, he already understands more about doing work," he said.

Tigor during socialization with more than 700 SPPG managers in socialization events and free nutritious food program governance policies also emphasized the disbursement of funds from BGN based on the Budget Plan (RAB) which must be correct according to the format.

"If it doesn't match the format, we will be rejected," said Tigor.

He emphasized that the expenditure of each SPPG was also maintained with a virtual account that had to be jointly signed by the deputy foundation or partners and the head of the SPPG.

Tigor also requested that all SPPG managers support Prabowo Subianto's government program by managing the SPPG professionally and on target so that the fulfillment of Indonesian children's nutrition is fulfilled in accordance with the objectives of the program itself.

Not only that, the MBG program is also expected to revive MSMEs and local communities.
