JAKARTA - A 12-year-old girl who was the victim of sexual abuse by her biological father in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, is reportedly still experiencing trauma. The Deputy Chairperson of the National Commission for Child Protection, Lia Latifah, told VOI that the victim was still crying after the incident.

"(if) considering the incident, there is still fear. Then still crying," Lia Latifah told VOI, Monday, November 3, 2025.

In fact, continued Lia, the victim asked the perpetrator to be severely punished even though his biological father.

"He (the victim) asked that his father be punished severely. Because he did not accept it, because it has been done by the perpetrator since he was a child (when he was 8 years old)," he said.

In addition, the victim also often asked him about the arrest of the perpetrator.

"If for example we meet with him, he asks when you were arrested? When did you get arrested, ma'am? He always asks like that," he said.

The victim hopes that with the arrest of the perpetrator, he will also be given the harshest punishment for the perpetrator.

"So he really wants that his father gets the punishment he deserves for his actions," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a biological father with the initials T had the heart to commit acts of sexual abuse against his daughter which had been carried out for years. In fact, the incident was carried out by perpetrators in a number of different areas.
