JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan issued DKI Governor Regulation Number 123 of 2019 which contains arrangements for domestic and foreign official travel. This Pergub is an amendment to Pergub Number 107 of 2019.

Anies added to the limit on the number of groups allowed on official trips. In Article 5 paragraph (2) Pergub Number 107 of 2013 states, groups that take domestic and foreign official trips are regulated at a maximum of five people.

Now, in Pergub Number 123 of 2019, Anies added one paragraph in Article 5, namely Paragraph (2a) which states that the provision for group numbers can be excluded and added.

"The problem of the number of official trips is that we limit it to 5 people, with the group leader. But, there are other activities that may require a large attendance," said Head of DKI Mawardi KDH and KLN Bureau when contacted, Monday, December 2.

There is no limit to the number of groups involved in official travel. The amount is proposed by each head of the Regional Work Unit (SKPD).

Even though the number of groups can be increased, Mawardi said that it is not certain that the budget burden will increase. Mawardi claimed official travel activities, both programmatic and meeting invitations.

Moreover, the proposal to increase the number must be approved by Anies and the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of DKI Saefullah. In their agreement, Anies and Saefullah can cut the number of people proposed.

"Tightening depends on the leadership, for example proposing five people (who will leave for work visits). After seeing the urgency, only two or three people (who leave). The leadership can decide," explained Mawardi.
