'Please Pray', Onad's First Speech After Being Examined By The West Jakarta Police

Artist and musician Leonardo Arya or Onad asked for prayers when they first appeared in public after being questioned by investigators from the Drug Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the West Jakarta Metro Police, Sunday evening.

"Please pray," said the former vocalist of the music group Killing Me Inside to reporters when he was escorted to the West Jakarta Metro Police Medical and Health Room (Dokkes), Sunday, November 2.

Onad made this statement when the media crew asked his motive for taking drugs. After that, he refused to comment further even though several times he was asked by reporters again.

Onad was accompanied by a number of officers from the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit when he came out of the lobby to the Dokkes room at around 16.11 WIB. He wore a dark blue jacket, black trousers, and sandals, and covered his face with a mask.

The health check lasted about 10 minutes. At around 16.21 WIB, Onad was again escorted to the main building of the West Jakarta Metro Police.

Head of Public Relations of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Wisnu Wirawan, said the police were still investigating Onad's motives for using marijuana and ecstasy.

"Still under investigation, investigation," he said.

Although the urine test results showed Onad was positive for marijuana and ecstasy, his status has not been determined as a suspect.

"While it is still in the process of deepening and examining," said Wisnu.

For the time being, the police called Onad a victim of drug abuse. If according to the initial information I got, this OL is a victim rather than narcotics," said Wisnu.

However, Wisnu has not explained the detailed reasons for determining the status. The police are also still investigating when Onad started using drugs.

"For the time being, I have not received further information. Investigators are still investigating," he said.

Meanwhile, the results of the examination showed that Onad's wife, Beby Prisillia, was negative for drugs.

"Onad is positive for marijuana and ecstasy. His wife has a negative urine test," said Wisnu.

Onad's colleague with the initials KR who was arrested in the Sunter area, North Jakarta, also tested positive for taking drugs. Until now, Onad is still undergoing intensive examination at the West Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters.
