President Prabowo To Attend APEC Summit In South Korea

JAKARTA - Presiden Prabowo Subianto akan menghadiri Konferensi Tinggi Kerja Sama Ekonomi Asia Pacific (KTT APEC) untuk bersama-sama pemimpin APEC membahas peningkatan ekonomi hingga perbaikan.

"Yes, he plans to be present at the APEC Summit on the date ... if I'm not mistaken the schedule is on 31 (October) and on 1 (November 2025)," said Foreign Minister Sugiono as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 28.

The Foreign Minister said that at the APEC Summit meeting later, like in other multilateral grouping meetings, the countries that attended would strengthen multilateralism to the role of the United Nations.

"In relation to revolving around that point. How the relationship between these Asian Pacific countries as a multilateral grouping is enhanced in the economic field and usually there are also what sectors need to improve," explained Foreign Minister Sugiono.

He said that currently things are developing related to new technology, and this is expected to be conveyed in the APEC Summit forum.

In addition, said the Foreign Minister, APEC leaders will usually also convey peace messages in response to conflicts or geopolitical situations that occur.
