Police Arrest Perpetrator Of Men's Slashing In Bidaraacina Not Long After The Incident

JAKARTA - A joint team from the East Jakarta Metro Police and the Jatinegara Police have succeeded in arresting the perpetrators of the murder of the victim with the initials HJ which occurred in the Bidaracina area, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Jatinegara Police Chief Kompol Samsono confirmed the arrest of the perpetrator of the murder.

"The perpetrator has been arrested, his initials are AAS," said Commissioner Samsono to VOI.

Currently, the perpetrator with the initials AAS is still under in-depth investigation by investigators from the Jatinegara Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"The motive is still under investigation and deepening," he said.

In addition, Kompol Samsono also has not explained in more detail the complete chronology of the murder incident that occurred, which killed a resident with the initials HJ.

"Later, yes, the perpetrators are still being investigated," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a man with the initials HJ was found dead after being slit by his friend during a duel defeat in the RT 06/06 area, Bidaraacina Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. The incident occurred on Saturday night, October 25, 2025.

According to information gathered, the victim HJ died after suffering a fatal slit wound to his neck.

The motive for the persecution that led to death occurred because it was suspected of being a narcotics problem of methamphetamine. The perpetrator and the victim were previously involved in an argument allegedly a narcotics problem.
