JAKARTA - The Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) of the Attorney General's Office has auctioned 10 units of vehicles belonging to Doni Muhammad Taufik alias Doni Salmanan, convicted of investment fraud in binary options and money laundering (TPPU), worth Rp9.8 billion.
Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, said the vehicles that were sold consisted of six cars and four motorbikes.
"The total auction sales proceeds of Rp. 9,810,900,000 will be deposited into the state treasury," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 22.
Anang said, there was an increase of Rp. 601,000,000, which was 6.5 percent of the total limit value of the objects sold.
The object that is not sold will be re-auctioned.
