Dekai Papua Mountains Prone To Terror KBB, Cartenz Peace Performs Mitigation

The Cartenz Peace Task Force continues to mitigate the rampant cases of attacks experienced by residents in Dekai, Yahukimo Regency, Papua Mountains.

This was due to the perpetrators who were suspected of being members of the KKB and their sympathizers who also monitored the movement of the security forces and residents so that when they were late they carried out the attack.

"The various cases of attacks that killed civilians in Dekai have caught our attention, thus paying special attention and making legal approaches," said Head of the Cartenz Peace Task Force Brigadier General Faizal Rahmadani in Jayapura, Tuesday, as reported by Antara.

Faizal said mitigation was carried out by involving all parties, including the Yahukimo Police and the Papuan Police Mobile Brigade.

In addition, personnel from the Cartenz Peace Task Force along with the Yahukimo Police and the Papuan Police Mobile Brigade increased the implementation of patrols, especially to areas prone to security disturbances.

"We will pay special attention to the rampant cases of attacks on civilians in Dekai," he continued.

The public is also asked to actively participate in maintaining security in their environment by activating siskamling and not easily being influenced by news that cannot be ascertained.

"We will do our best to provide a sense of security to the community by enforcing the law against the perpetrators," said Faizal.
