Good News For Madrasahs! Ministry Of Religion Ensures IDR 4 Trillion BOS And BOP Funds Are Ready To Disburse This Week

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion has confirmed that the Operational Assistance Fund for the Implementation of Raudlatul Athfal (BOP RA) and Madrasah School Operational Assistance (BOS) for Quarter III and IV for Fiscal Year 2025 is ready to be disbursed this week.

Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar explained, according to President Prabowo Subianto's direction, improving the quality of education is a mandate of the 1945 Constitution as well as the government's commitment to creating a superior and effective learning environment.

"According to the president's directive, we need to realize quality education to produce a superior generation that is globally competitive," said Nasaruddin in Jakarta, Antara, Monday, October 20.

The Director General of Islamic Education, Amien Suyitno, said that the distribution of Madrasah BOS and RA in the third and fourth quarters reached Rp4.01 trillion. The funds consist of BOP RA amounting to Rp204 billion and BOS Madrasah amounting to Rp3,809 trillion, which will be distributed to 81 thousand recipient institutions that have passed verification.

"The BOS and BOP budget of Rp4.01 trillion is already in the disbursement stage to be distributed by channeling banks to 81 thousand institutions that have met the criteria," said Amien.

According to the Professor of UIN Palembang, the budget allocation shows the Ministry of Religion's strong commitment to ensuring the continuity of quality education services, especially in the second half of 2025.

"I invite all levels of the Ministry of Religion, both central and regional, to oversee this process in an accountable manner. These funds must be right on target, used properly, and reported in an orderly manner by the madrasa," he said.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Madrasah Institutional and Student Facilities Curriculum (KSKK), Nyyu Khodijah, said that the submission document verification process was carried out strictly.

"Every institution that proposes disbursement of Quarter III and IV must have completed its accountability report until the distribution of Quarter II," said Nyanyu.

He emphasized that the verification stage is an important step to ensure that the distribution of funds runs optimally and according to procedures. Institutions with valid and complete documents will immediately receive funds through channeling banks.

BOP and BOS funds are expected to be utilized as optimally as possible to improve the quality of reporting learning and accountability. Do not let the delay in absorption hinder the quality of madrasa education," he said.

Dana harus digunakan secara disiplin, transparan, dan akuntabel sesuai Rencana Kegiatan dan Anggaran Madrasah (RKAM).

Nyyayu also appealed to all heads of RA and madrasas recipients of assistance to ensure that the status of submissions in the eRKAM V2 (for BOS) application and the Ministry of Religion BOS Portal (for BOP) is valid and ready to channel. Funds must be used in a disciplined, transparent, and accountable manner according to the Plan for Activities and the Madrasah Budget (RKAM).
