Brigadier Rizka Charged With Premeditated Murder Article In The Case Of Brigadier Esco

West Lombok Resort Police Investigator, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), applied Article 340 of the Criminal Code related to premeditated murder in the determination of five suspects in the murder case of Brigadier Esco Faska Rely.

"In addition to the general criminal article 340 of the Criminal Code, we also apply Article 338 of the Criminal Code and the PKDRT Law (Abolition of Domestic Violence)," said Head of the West Lombok Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKPlulu Eka Arya Mardiwinatadilansir ANTARA, Friday, October 17.

The application of the article, he explained, was specifically for the suspect Brigadier Rizka Sintiani, the wife of the late Esco.

For the other four suspects who are the family of Brigadier Rizka, namely with the initials SA, PA, DR, and NU, investigators apply Article 340 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code or Article 56 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code or Article 221 of the Criminal Code regarding the act of obstructing investigation (obstruction of justice).

"Their modus operandi (four suspects) eliminates traces at the TKP (the location of the incident) and helps the suspect RS (Rizka Sintiani)," he said.

The arrest of four suspects who emerged from the development of this investigation took place on October 15, 2025.

Now the four suspects together with Brigadier Rizka have been detained by investigators. The file collection is a further stage of the investigation.

The police got the role of these four new suspects starting from the results of the reconstruction of the case at the deceased's house on Monday (29/9). Two men appeared wearing necklaces with Mr. X's identity.

At that time, the suspect Brigadier Rizka refused to continue the scene when Brigadier Esco's body moved from the back of the house to the garden behind the house where residents were found.

The body of Brigadier Esco was found dead in a state of his neck entangled with a rope tied to a small tree. The incident took place in Jembatan Jembatan Jembakan Village, Lembar District, West Lombok Regency.
