Gowa Police Shoots Group Of Motorcycle Gangs Opening Residents

GOWA - The Joint Team of the Gowa Police, South Sulawesi, arrested four perpetrators of a motorcycle gang. Two of them were shot in the leg while fighting the officers while searching for catapult evidence and arrows that were thrown away by the perpetrators after being used to attack people.

"We had to paralyze the perpetrator because he was about to fight. Four people were arrested and they have been named as suspects. Two of his colleagues are still being chased by members," said Gowa Police Chief AKBP Muhammad Aldy Sulaiman as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 16.

The four perpetrators, respectively, the initials MF (19) were the perpetrators of the eviction, MA (19), and were taken by the ages of the initials HS (14) and AH (16). The two other perpetrators also carried out the attack being hunted by the police. And for the two perpetrators, they were dealt with firmly with hot lead.

The six perpetrators previously attacked innocent people. The victim, Saeful Haeruddin (19) was followed from behind while driving across Areopala Street (ext. Letjen Hertasning Baru), Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency.

The victim was hit by an arrow that was pinned by the perpetrators from above his motorbike and stuck in the neck and arms. The incident occurred on Wednesday (15/10) night.

After the incident, the victim was rushed to the hospital for immediate help. Luckily, the victim survived after receiving medical treatment. Based on this information, the officers chased the perpetrators.

After a while, the police managed to arrest four of the perpetrators, while two other people fled. When the officers took the perpetrators where they threw evidence of catapults and arrows in use, they resisted, so measurable action was taken, crippling them.

From the information obtained, one of the perpetrators was detected on Jalan Kajenjeng, Tamangapa Village, Manggala District, Makassar City. It didn't take long for the joint team to arrest him and then secure other perpetrators along with the evidence.

"These perpetrators were charged with Article 354 of the Criminal Code concerning severe maltreatment. The maximum penalty is eight years in prison," said the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kediri Police, East Java Province.
