DENPASAR - TNI has mapped the location of the sinking of KRI Nanggala-402. Mapping was also carried out by an investigative team from China, Tan Soe Er Hao.

The mapping was carried out through a marine survey with a depth of about 839 meters. Then, the location of the ship is estimated to be located at 07 degrees, 48 minutes 56.6 seconds south and 114 degrees, 51 minutes 20.6 degrees east of the waters of north Bali. Not much different from the detection results of KRI Rigel's magnetometer.

In addition, the team was able to see three broken parts of the ship. Among these are the stern, bow, and bridge. In addition, the team also found a crater with a diameter of 38 meters with a depth of approximately 10-15 meters.

"There is one place we call the crater or crater with a diameter of approximately 38 meters with a depth of approximately 10-15 meters", he added.

However, the investigation team has not been able to find out the details of the condition of the crater. Because China's sonar scan cannot detect it because of the dark conditions.
