KPK Summons Inhutani Commissioner V Raffles Brotestes Who Was Entangled In OTT But Was Not A Suspect

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Raffles Brotestes Panjaitan today, October 9. Commissioner Inhutani V will be questioned regarding the alleged bribery in forest area management.

"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, October 9.

Meanwhile, Raffles was also secured by the anti-corruption commission when holding a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Wednesday, August 13. However, he was able to go home because he was not named a suspect.

Apart from Raffle, Budi said that another witness was examined. He is Kamsiya who is a private party.

Budi has not detailed the examination material for the two of them. They are only said to be questioned regarding the racist practices that are being handled.

"The KPK has scheduled witness examinations related to alleged corruption in the management of the forest area Inhutani V," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK appointed the Managing Director of PT Inhutani V, Dicky Yuana Rady; Director of PT Paramita Mulia Langgeng (PML), Djunaedi; and Aditya as the licensing staff of SB Group as suspects for alleged bribery permits for the use of forest areas. The determination was made after all three were entangled in a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Wednesday, August 13.

In this silent operation, the KPK confiscated 189 thousand Singapore dollars in cash; IDR 8.5 million; Jeep Rubicon; and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

For his actions, Djunaidi and Aditya as the givers, are suspected of committing acts of corruption as regulated in Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law, jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Dicky as the recipient is suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption as regulated in Article 12 letter a or b or Article 11 of the Corruption Eradication Law.
