Public Relation of National Search And Rescue Agency (Basarnas), Nias Asanimu Waruwu, said the disappearance of eight fishermen is known from the Chief Executive (Kalak) of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of south Nias Regency around 10.25 am, Monday, May 17.
"We got a report from BPBD South Nias of eight missing fishermen," he said as quoted by Antara.
From the temporary information received, eight fishermen went missing after suffering damage to the engine of the 30 Grasstone (Gt) boat they were riding in to catch fish on Monday at around 08.00 western Indonesia time.
