"There will be a situational diversion of traffic flow on several roads that intersect with the place for the TNI's 80th Anniversary Ceremony," said Head of the Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, October 3.
Syafrin explained that the series of activities for the TNI Anniversary will be centered at the National Monument (Monas) and there will be placement of defense equipment on Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, both on the north side of Medan Merdeka Street and Jalan Medan Merdeka on the south side.
Syafrin explained that roads that will be subject to traffic engineering include the Simpang Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Simpang Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan-Jalan Ridwan Rais, Simpang Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara-Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Simpang Jalan Veteran lll-Jalan Veteran, Jalan Perwira, Jalan Cathedral and Jalan Majapahit on the east side.
