JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has prepared situational traffic flow engineering on several roads in the context of the TNI's 80th Anniversary in the National Monument (Monas) area and its surroundings, on Sunday (5/10).

"There will be a situational diversion of traffic flow on several roads that intersect with the place for the TNI's 80th Anniversary Ceremony," said Head of the Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, October 3.

Syafrin explained that the series of activities for the TNI Anniversary will be centered at the National Monument (Monas) and there will be placement of defense equipment on Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, both on the north side of Medan Merdeka Street and Jalan Medan Merdeka on the south side.

Syafrin explained that roads that will be subject to traffic engineering include the Simpang Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Simpang Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan-Jalan Ridwan Rais, Simpang Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara-Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Simpang Jalan Veteran lll-Jalan Veteran, Jalan Perwira, Jalan Cathedral and Jalan Majapahit on the east side.

The details of traffic flow diversion in the context of the TNI's 80th Anniversary are as follows:

1. Traffic from the west (RS. Budi Kemuliaan) to the east (Gambir) can go through Jalan Abdul Muis-Jalan Majapahit-Jalan Juanda-Jalan Pos-Jalan Gedung Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat-Jalan Pejambon- and so on (dst);

2. Traffic from the east (Tugu Tani) to the east (Budi Kemuliaan Hospital) can be through Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan on the south side-Jalan Agus Salim-Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan Abdul Muis-dst or can via Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Perwira-Jalan Cathedral-Jalan Veteran-Jalan Surya Pranoto-dst;

3. Traffic from the north (Harmoni) to the south (Tanah Abang) can use Jalan Suryopranoto-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Cideng Timur-dst

4. Traffic from the north (Harmoni) to the south (Tugu Tani) can pass through Juanda Street-Pos Road-Senian Building Street-North Banteng Field Street-West Banteng Field Road-Pejambon Street-dst

"Road users are advised to avoid these roads and be able to adjust the traffic arrangements set, comply with traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety," said Syafrin.
