Subsidering Dualism, Agus Suparmanto's Camp Invites Mardiono To Join PPP

JAKARTA - The management of the United Development Party (PPP) for the Agus Suparmanto camp invited Muhammad Mardiono's camp to attend dualism and join the party's management to face the upcoming elections.

The invitation was conveyed by the Secretary General of PPP for Agus' camp, Taj Yasin Maimoen, after distributing the files from the X PPP Congress to the Ministry of Law.

"We want him (Mardiono) to join us in the PPP management to welcome the upcoming elections. We make it happen that PPP must enter parliament, which is important," Yasin said in Jakarta, Wednesday, October 1, quoted by ANTARA.

Yasin said that his party had submitted the invitation to Mardiono. "Our orders are already going there, yes, we are waiting for the answer, he wants to join the management or remain a party cadre, please," he said.

He also ensured that Mardiono would be accepted if he decided to join. "Of course, we will definitely accept everything," said Yasin.

On this Wednesday, Yasin submitted the files from the congress to the Ministry of Law accompanied by members of the Formatur Team as well as former Chairman of the PPP Advisory Council Muhammad Romahurmuziy.

"What we have just registered is the new general chairman and secretary general," he said.

Yasin submitted a number of files, such as a letter of ratification of AD/ART, ratification of SK, attendance list, photos, minutes of a formatar meeting, to the consideration of the documentation results of the X PPP Congress which chose Agus Suparmanto as chairman.

In addition, Agus' camp also provided an introductory letter from the Party Court. According to Yasin, the document proves that the PPP management is obedient to the rules issued by the government regarding parties.

Yasin explained that the files registered today will then be examined by the leadership of the Ministry of Law. "We will wait, as soon as possible, we hope, yes, as soon as possible (separated)," he said.

It is known, PPP held the 10th party congress in the Ancol area, Jakarta, last weekend.

On the evening of Saturday (27/9), Acting General Chairperson of PPP Muhammad Mardiono claimed that he was elected by acclamation as the definitive general chairman for the 2025-2030 period.

However, the congress, which was colored by chaos, continued and decided former Trade Minister Agus Suparmanto as chairman.

Thus, there are now two parties who have declared themselves as the General Chair of PPP for the 2025'30 period based on the decision of the 10th PPP Congress, namely the Mardiono and Agus Suparmanto camps.
