Audience With Veronica Lim, YWPB Supports MBG Program

JAKARTA - In the midst of the nutritional challenges of children and the resilience of Indonesian families as well as empowering women towards independence in trying to strengthen the family's economy, the Wijaya Peduli Bangsa Foundation (YWPB) took bold steps.

The founder and chairman of the Foundation, Eddy Wijaya, together with the team including Reza Indragiri and Imam Rulyawan held an audience with the Deputy Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (Wamen PPPA), Veronica Tan (Veronica Lim), Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

The meeting not only became a space for dialogue, but also marked the official support from the Ministry of PPPA for YWPB to be able to participate in supporting the success of the MBG (Free Nutrition Food) movement which is one of President Prabowo's priority programs to educate children and improve the health of pregnant women towards Indonesia Gold 2045.

MBG: More Than Just Eat

MBG (Free Nutrition Food) is not just giving food. This program is here as a social movement to ensure that every Indonesian child, especially from vulnerable families, can enjoy nutritious food every day.

With good nutrition, children are not only physically healthy, but also grow with a sense, enthusiasm for learning, and confidence to achieve a better future. Likewise for pregnant women so that they can give birth to future generations who are not only healthy and strong but also intelligent.

Wamen Veronica sees MBG as a visionary program. "Free Nutrition is a future investment. Today's children's nutrition determines the quality of the nation tomorrow. I appreciate YWPB for presenting real solutions, close to family and society," said Veronica Tan.

Wings Of The Program That Strengthens MBG

To maintain the sustainability of MBG, YWPB has prepared supporting programs that are interconnected, namely:

According to the Chairperson of the Wijaya Peduli Bangsa Foundation, with this supporting program, it is hoped that women's empowerment will strengthen the family's economy and revive the people's economy. "YWPB will support women to become successful entrepreneurs by providing tens of hectares of land in Palabuhan Ratu, Sukabumi, West Java to be used as agricultural land, chicken and laying hens, as well as fisheries to support the supply chain for MBG foodstuffs," explained Eddy Wijaya.

The program also involves assistance and education by KPPPA. "All of this is for the realization of a more resilient Indonsian family," added Eddy Wijaya.
