JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung decided to turn Kapuk Village into Kapuk Village (induk), East Kapuk Village, and South Kapuk Village.
West Jakarta Mayor Uus Kuswanto explained that currently his party is proposing land and planning for the construction of two sub-district offices as a result of the expansion.
The target is that this new kelurahan office will be able to function in the next two years.
"Hopefully in five centuries Jakarta will be finished. Anyway, 2027, as stated by Mr. Gub in rapim, God willing, June 22, the South Kapuk and East Kapuk sub-districts have been completed," said Uus at the Kapuk Village Office, West Jakarta, Tuesday, September 30.
The plan is that the East Kapuk Village Office will be built on the land of the former West Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. Office with an area of 5,094 square meters on Jalan Livestock Raya.
Meanwhile, the South Kapuk Village Office will use land belonging to the West Jakarta City Parks and Forests Sub-department with an area of 1,503 square meters on Jalan Melati.
"Regarding human resource needs, they will be adjusted to the coefficients. So it is estimated that one kelurahan is 15 personnel. Maybe it will be discussed in detail again at the Organizational Bureau," said Uus.
In addition to the village office, Uus revealed a number of other community service facilities that were not yet available in the village after this expansion. Among them are puskesmas in Kapuk Selatan Village and fire stations in the three urban villages.
"So if possible, three Damkar Posts will be built, both in Kapuk, South Kapuk, and East Kapuk Villages," he said.
