Focus On Fixing MBG, Prabowo Meeting 3 Hours In Kertanegara

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto chaired a limited meeting for almost 3 hours at his private residence on Jalan Kertanegara, Jakarta, Sunday night, with several of his ministers discussing various priority programs, including MBG, food, oil and gas, and fisheries.

The ministers who attended the limited meeting on Sunday night included Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkili Hasan, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi, Head of the Government Communication Agency Angga Raka Prabowo, President Director of Perum Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, who is also the Presidential Spokesperson, explained that President Prabowo deliberately held a limited meeting on Sunday night because the President continued to monitor and wanted to immediately get the latest reports from his ministers.

"Yes, the President's style is like that. So, a program that we plan, so we continue to monitor and he continues to want to get updates and of course in the discussion if there are obstacles faced, he wants to be resolved immediately," Prasetyo said in his statement, Sunday night.

On the same occasion, Pras, Prasetyo's nickname, explained that the Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan reported on the rice field printing program, management of the National Nutrition Agency and free nutritious food (MBG), then the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia continued to report on the development of the oil lifting target.

"Then, there will soon be groundbreaking, namely for methanol factories and the construction of ethanol factories, which we have been importing so far. So, we hope that within the next 2 years we can reduce our dependence on methanol and ethanol imports," said Pras.

Prasetyo continued the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono reported several programs, including the revitalization of 20 hectares of ponds in West Java, then the construction of fishing villages.

"The progress of developing fishing villages from the start has been planned, and is included in the financing scheme from both the APBN and the financing scheme in terms of investment. So, a lot today, almost three hours," continued Pras.

Regarding the construction of fishing villages, Pras continued from the results of the meeting, it was discovered that there was a need for coordination with other ministries/agencies, such as the Ministry of ATR/BPN, the Ministry of Forestry, and the Ministry of Environment.

Meanwhile, regarding MBG, Pras continued with the President on Saturday (28/9), a few hours after President Prabowo arrived in Jakarta, he immediately gave technical directions and details regarding free nutritious food (MBG) so that the poisoning incident would no longer repeat itself.

"We reported the results of our meeting this afternoon with plans for future improvements to governance, and there frankly the President from yesterday gave very detailed, even very technical clues, for example regarding the problem of procedural discipline, especially the problem of cleanliness which is related to water problems. He is very concerned because from several samples that have been completed (checked, ed.) that is one of the main causes is bacteria," said Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.
