Vice President Gibran Visits People's School In Palembang

JAKARTA - Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming visited the People's School in Palembang City, South Sumatra (Sumsel) to check the facilities and convenience of students who are studying.

Gibran Rakabuming accompanied by the Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru and his deputy Cik Ujang and the Presidential Chief of Staff Muhammad Qodari during his visit to Palembang, Thursday, September 25.

"The Vice President reviewed the People's School and asked the children whether they are comfortable studying here," said South Sumatra Governor Herman Deru as quoted by Antara.

He said Vice President Gibran visited one by one the classrooms for learning, then the teacher's room, and the student's dormitory or bed.

Presidential Chief of Staff Muhammad Qodari added that the People's School in Palembang was going well.

He is grateful that the People's School is going well. He also saw that the students' expressions, enthusiasm, skills and nutrition were met at the school.

"I see that the People's School is the umpteenth time, we are grateful that this is going well. It can be seen from the expressions of bright students, their enthusiasm, good nutrition, having aspirations and having their own skills. I see what the president thinks is well realized and the facilities are complete," he said.

Meanwhile, during his visit to South Sumatra this time, Vice President Gibran first followed the agenda in Banyuasin Regency, namely the main harvest, then visited the Palembang People's School, and Pasar 16 Ilir Palembang, as well as the Palembang Junction Toll Road.
