JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) strongly condemns the brutal and systematic Israeli attacks on palestinians in Gaza in recent days.

MCC President Ahmad Syaikhu insisted the Zionist-Israeli regime had clearly committed acts of expulsion, illegal deprivation of settlements, mass killings, and ethnic cleansing of Palestinian civilians. Both Muslim and non-Muslim citizens, including children, women, and the elderly.
"Zionist-Israeli acts of military aggression also destroyed various facilities of worship, schools, hospitals and buildings belonging to journalists covering peacefully in Palestinian Gaza," Syaikhu said at a press conference at the MCC DPP Office, Jakarta, Sunday, May 16.
Syaikhu stated, the MCC firmly rejects all forms of narrative, public discourse and views that state that the Zionist-Israeli regime has the right to self-defense.
"The Zionist-Israeli regime seems to position itself as a victim who suffered an attack, so that it has the right to launch acts of violence that clearly lead to acts of crimes against humanity," syaikhu said.In fact, he continued, Israel is proven to do apartheid politics, namely acts of persecution, discrimination and violence against the Palestinian people. In fact, the gaza strip blockade policy also includes humanitarian crimes that must be stopped and ended because it has hindered humanitarian aid from the international community for victims of violence.
The MCC invites all parties to honor al-Aqsha Mosque as a holy place of Muslims and a cultural site under unesco supervision.
"All parties are obliged to guard and protect the Al-Aqsha Mosque and provide access for Muslims to be able to worship in it, as stipulated in international law," he said.

The MCC supports the Indonesian Government's diplomatic struggle, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in an international forum with Muslim countries belonging to the Organization of Islamic Conferences (OIC) in order to bring the humanitarian crimes of the Israeli Zionist regime to the Human Rights Council and the UN Security
Council." We also encourage the Chairman of the House of Representatives and the Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly to jointly strengthen the diplomacy of the Government of Indonesia in the international forum by rallying humanitarian support and solidarity for the Palestinian people through the cooperation of the Inter-Parliamentary Union or Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the World," he explained.
The MCC deplores the foreign policy stance of the United States, which tends to support the Zionist-Israeli regime's violent actions as legitimacy for self-defense.
Syaikhu said he urged the United States Government under President Joe Biden's leadership to be consistent and fair on the human rights of the Palestinian people. Even the MCC would have sent a letter to Joe Biden if it was true that the principles of multilateralism, justice and human rights were the doctrines and foundations of United States foreign politics.
"We plan to send an official Open Letter addressed to President Joe Biden on Monday, May 17, 2021," Syaikhu said.
