Jakarta Weather Forecast Thursday, September 25: Light Rain In Several Areas

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that some areas of Jakarta will receive light rain on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

In the morning, the entire Jakarta area is expected to be cloudy. Entering the afternoon, light rain has the potential to occur in South Jakarta and East Jakarta, while other areas are still cloudy.

In the afternoon, some areas are forecasted to experience light rain, except for the heavy-cloud Thousand Islands. At night, the entire Jakarta area is expected to be thick cloudy, with the potential for light rain in North Jakarta and East Jakarta.

In the early hours of the morning, the entire Jakarta area is expected to be thick cloudy. The air temperature is estimated to range from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius with wind speeds of 2 to 13 kilometers per hour.

BMKG reminded the public to remain alert to potential inundation or flooding, especially in areas with poor drainage and flood-prone areas. Residents are also advised to anticipate the possibility of trees falling due to strong winds.

The local government together with the DKI Jakarta BPBD have prepared emergency handling steps by alerting joint officers, water suction pumps, and flood alert posts. Residents are asked to immediately report to the nearest RT/RW or post in case of inundation so that it can be handled more quickly.
