KKB Elkius Returns To Spread Terror, Shoot Civilians To Burn Houses

JAKARTA - The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) led by Elkius Kobak has again spread terror. They shot a civilian in Kolf Braza District, Asmat Regency.

Head of Damai Cartenz Operation, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, said the victim of the shooting was named Indra Guru Wardana. The KKB terror act took place on Sunday, September 21.

"After the shooting, the perpetrators also burned the victim's house to the ground," said Faizal in his statement, Tuesday, September 23.

However, the series or chronology of shootings to arson cannot be conveyed in detail. Because, until now it is still in data collection because access to the location is quite difficult.

"TKP is quite far from the Suator Police and communication is also not very good, so we are still collecting complete data regarding this incident," he said.

In addition, the Deputy Head of Damai Cartenz Operations, Kombes Adarma Sinaga, said that from the temporary investigation, it was estimated that there were more than three shooters.

"The number of perpetrators is estimated to be six people, one of whom is carrying a long weapon with a telescope," said Adarma.

The Cartenz Peace Task Force is currently continuing to carry out security and further investigations. The National Police emphasized that the state will not lose to armed crimes, and public safety remains a top priority.
