Indonesia Ranks 18th Positive Case Of COVID-19 In The World

JAKARTA - Johns Hopkins University Medicine's statistical data records Indonesia ranked 18th out of a total of 192 countries reporting positive cases of COVID-19 in the world.

According to Johns Hopkins University Medicine's official website, Saturday at 01:21 local time there were 1,734,285 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country out of a total of 161,374,425 positive patients globally.

With these numbers, Indonesia has contributed 1.07 percent of positive cases of COVID-19 in the world.

Meanwhile, the death rate in the country reached 47,823 people or equivalent to 1.43 percent of the global death rate of 3,348,748 people.

In general, Johns Hopkins University Medicine notes the United States is the country with the most positive cases in the world with 32,880,252 cases with 584,994 deaths.

Then followed by India with the number of positive cases of COVID-19, namely 24,046,809 and 262,317 deaths, Brazil followed 15,433,989 cases and 430,417 deaths, France 5,909,368 cases with 107,584 deaths, and Turkey 5,095,390 cases with 44,301 deaths.
