Pati Residents Again Protest Demand Regent Sudewo Resign Because Of Arrogance

PATI - Hundreds of residents of Pati Regency, Central Java, held another demonstration demanding Regent Pati Sudewo resign because he was considered an arrogant and suspected corrupt leader.

A demonstration by the United Pati Community (MPB) was held in front of the Pati Regency DPRD office.

"Let's fight together to impeach Regent Pati Sudewo. Don't forget to pray together so that our demands are granted," said one of the action orators, Supriyono, quoted from Antara, Friday, September 19.

Pati Regency residents, he said, did not want inconsistent leaders, Pati residents also wanted to be free and free from corrupt and arrogant leaders.

"Remember, demonstrations must be carried out peacefully, politely, and politely. Don't be anarchic. Let's guard the aspirations of the people in peace," he said.

Tristoni, the United Pati Community Advocacy Team, highlighted the allegation of the practice of bombing the work of the Special Committee (Pansus) of the Pati DPRD.

According to him, the advocacy team found a number of evidences and information related to the allegation. However, he emphasized that complete data could only be officially submitted at the advocacy team's office.

"Yes, because we found evidence and information that we got, but we can't convey it here. If you want, it can be submitted at the office later," he said.

Tristoni assessed that the indications of bombing were clearly evident from the attitude of a number of members of the Special Committee who were considered passive.

He gave an example, some cadres from certain parties were not actively asking questions or digging up information during the trial.

"For example from the Gerindra party, there are cadres who don't talk much, don't ask many questions, even the questions tend to be ridiculous. Likewise with several other parties, such as the Golkar Party and NasDem, there has been no sound of their voices so far," he said.

Furthermore, Tristoni emphasized that his party remains consistent in fighting for the three main demands that have been submitted to the Pati DPRD. His party emphasized that the legislative body should continue to prioritize the interests of the people.

"The important thing is that we demand that the Pati DPRD remain 'on the track' and prioritize the interests of the Pati people. Because the Pati DPRD is the Pati People's Representative Council, not the Pati People's Betrayed Council," he said.
