JITEX 2025 Opened, Transaction Value Targeted To Reach IDR 14.9 Trillion

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Rano Karno, officially opened the Jakarta International Investment, Trade, Tourism, and Expo (JITEX) 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Central Jakarta.

The international exhibition, which lasted until September 21, was held by the DKI Provincial Government together with the Indonesian Shopping Center Retailers and Tenants Association (HIPPINDO), the Association of Indonesian Exhibition Companies (ASPERAPI), and the Asian Trade, Tourism and Economics Council (ATTEC). This year JITEX carries the theme Jakarta Connecting Future.

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to building an inclusive, sustainable, and global competitive economic growth ecosystem. This JITEX exhibition is proof that the dynamics of Jakarta is maintained and continues to open up new opportunities," said Rano, Wednesday, September 17.

Rano is optimistic that the transaction value of JITEX 2025 can reach IDR 14.9 trillion.

"The enthusiasm of participants and visitors continues to increase from year to year. I am sure the real impact of JITEX will be even more felt on the economy of Jakarta and Indonesia," he added.

JITEX presents MSME products, ranging from culinary, fashion, electric vehicles, furniture, to manufacturing.

In addition to exhibitions, there are also business and investment forums that bring together business actors with the private sector, BUMD, BUMN, local governments, to international partners.

Chairman of HIPPINDO, Budihardjo Iduansjah, called JITEX 2025 an important momentum for MSMEs and investors.

"We want to make Jakarta not only a domestic trading center, but also a global gateway. Jakarta must be maintained as an investment, trade and tourism center that connects other regions throughout Indonesia," he explained.

Budihardjo also emphasized the Shopping program in Indonesia Aja (BINA) as an effort to strengthen domestic consumption while opening access to the global market.

In addition to the trade show, JITEX 2025 held seminars, talk shows, and international forums, including the Jakarta International Collaboration Expo (JICE) which was attended by 21 sister cities, friendly countries, representatives of the embassy, and international trading rooms.

Not only focusing on business, this event also provides space for the wider community through travel fair, fashion shows, creative workshops, and cultural performances. JITEX 2025 also appears as a public space that unites economic, cultural, and tourism interactions.
