JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Rano Karno, officially opened the Jakarta International Investment, Trade, Tourism, and Expo (JITEX) 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Central Jakarta.

The international exhibition, which lasted until September 21, was held by the DKI Provincial Government together with the Indonesian Shopping Center Retailers and Tenants Association (HIPPINDO), the Association of Indonesian Exhibition Companies (ASPERAPI), and the Asian Trade, Tourism and Economics Council (ATTEC). This year JITEX carries the theme Jakarta Connecting Future.

JITEX presents MSME products, ranging from culinary, fashion, electric vehicles, furniture, to manufacturing.

In addition to exhibitions, there are also business and investment forums that bring together business actors with the private sector, BUMD, BUMN, local governments, to international partners.

Chairman of HIPPINDO, Budihardjo Iduansjah, called JITEX 2025 an important momentum for MSMEs and investors.

"We want to make Jakarta not only a domestic trading center, but also a global gateway. Jakarta must be maintained as an investment, trade and tourism center that connects other regions throughout Indonesia," he explained.

Budihardjo also emphasized the Shopping program in Indonesia Aja (BINA) as an effort to strengthen domestic consumption while opening access to the global market.
