Case Of Twin Child Abuse, Police: Perpetrators Of Intention To Dispose Of Victims In Jakarta

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Crimes for the Protection of Women and Children as well as the Eradication of Trafficking in Persons (Ditipid PPA-PPO) Bareskrim Polri revealed the provisional development of investigations into cases of alleged violence against children with the initials AMK.

From the series of examination and deepening results, the nine-year-old boy was deliberately brought by the two perpetrators, namely SNK (42), the victim's biological mother, and EF alias YA (40) to Jakarta to be disposed of.

"It is suspected that the victim was deliberately brought to Jakarta to be disposed of," said Head of Sub-Directorate II Dittipid PPA and PPO Bareskrim Polri, Kombes Ganis Setyaningrum in a statement, Tuesday, September 16.

In addition, the victim, who is known to live with the two perpetrators in the East Java region, always has acts of persecution. For approximately 8 years, the boy had to endure pain.

The victim of AMK experienced very serious violence, different from what happened to his twin brother. The victim's physical condition clearly shows that there was persecution," he said.

From a series of investigators, it was also revealed that the acts of violence carried out by the two perpetrators against the twin brother of AMK with the initials ASK.

Although, the impact of violence he experienced was different from that of his twin brother. Currently, investigators are still investigating the reasons behind the violence.

"The process of investigating this case did take a long time, because the victim was experiencing very severe trauma. We dug up every statement from the victim carefully and in detail, while being assisted by the relevant ministries and internal institutions. Thank God, thanks to the hard work of investigators, this case was finally revealed," said Ganis.

Previously, it was reported that the Dittipid PPA & PPO) Bareskrim Polri revealed a case of neglect and severe violence against a 9-year-old girl with the initials AMK.

The disclosure of the case began with the discovery of the girl in a pathetic condition in front of the Kebayoran Lama Market stall, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 11.

"When found, the victim was lying weak on a cardboard box, full of wounds and signs of malnutrition. His face suffered burns, his hands were broken, his body was bruised, and his condition was very worrying. Officers who received the report immediately evacuated the victim to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for emergency medical assistance," said the Director of Criminal Investigation of Women and Children and the Eradication of Trafficking in Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Nurul Azizah.

Bareskrim Polri moved quickly to lead the investigation process. In the process of being examined accompanied by social workers, this girl is often tortured by EF alias YA (40), whom she calls 'Father Juna'.

"The perpetrator is said to have often hit, kicked, slammed, poured gasoline and burned the victim's face in the rice fields, hit him with wood and broke bones, slashed with a machete, and poured the victim's body with hot water," he said.

Not only that, this innocent boy also mentioned SNK (42), his biological mother, knowing about the torture. He even agreed to leave the victim in Jakarta.
