Prabowo Benahi Education Through Corruption Efficiency And Eradication

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto stated the government's commitment to improving national education governance by prioritizing the efficiency and eradication of corruption.

He conveyed this after reviewing the implementation of the 10 Margaguna High School (SRMA), South Jakarta, Thursday, September 11.

"We have to eradicate corruption. The remaining money is so much money, we invest in education, our children, our future," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

The Head of State said large investments had been disbursed for the education sector, but there were still a lot of leaks and inefficiency.

According to him, the allocation of education funds through the 2025 State Budget which was reported to reach Rp690 trillion (outlook), and is planned to increase to Rp757.8 trillion next year, must be a joint correction.

"We don't think about the past, but we will fix what is now. Now we are all out, we want to save, we want to save our resources," he said.

The President emphasized that eradicating corruption is the key so that the education budget can be right on target.

The remaining budget that has been saved, said Prabowo, must be fully directed to improve the quality of education.

"The rest of the money that we invest so much in education, our children, our future," he said.

The President also emphasized the importance of using technology in supporting the acceleration of improving the quality of education.

"If necessary, we must use technology," he said.

The President said the government had prepared a digital screen or digital smart screen distribution to 330 thousand school units throughout Indonesia.

Through interactive smartTV, said the President, students can repeat lessons at any time because learning content is available for 24 hours.

This material can also be accessed via smartphone, thus allowing students to continue to study outside school hours or when teachers are not in class.

The President explained that this technology also provides space for interactions between students, teachers, and the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.

Teachers can take special structuring classes to improve the quality of teaching, while the government can monitor learning effectiveness.

According to him, this technology integration will strengthen the national education system and ensure equal access to education in various regions.
