Close During The First Eid, Ragunan Park Tomorrow Opened But Special For Jakarta Residents

JAKARTA - Ragunan Wildlife Park, South Jakarta will not operate on Thursday, May 13, or the first day of Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri celebrations. This tourist attraction is only opened on the second day of Eid on Friday, May 14.

"Close the first day of Eid holidays. It is already stipulated in Governor's regulations Number 63 the Year 2018 that on the first day it is closed and already running from 2018", Ragunan Wildlife Park Public Relations Chief Wahyudi Bambang told reporters, Thursday, May 13.

On the second day of Eid al-Fitr, Ragunan will be open from 07.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB. Visitors who come must have a DKI Jakarta ID card.

Wahyudi then explained, for residents of DKI Jakarta who want to visit first must register online before buying tickets on-site. Because, the capacity in the tourist attractions is limited to only 30 percent or a maximum of 30 thousand visitors.

"Those who are allowed to enter, who have signed up", he said.

Ragunan will drop 700 employees to serve visitors. In addition, Wahyudi said it has coordinated with the police to prevent piles of visitors.

"We've been coordinating and have been on guard since yesterday", he said.

Wahyudi explained the condition of the animal in a well-maintained and healthy state. For visitors who will visit Ragunan can come every Tuesday to Sunday.

"Saturday and Sunday are open. Monday is closed due to animal holidays. Tuesday through Sunday open again. So on until the 30th", said Wahyudi.

It is known, during the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri, the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta still allows tourist attractions and shopping centers to operate.

However, tourist attractions and shopping centers will be closed if they are in the red zone of the spread of COVID-19. The closure will be held until May 16

During this period tourist attractions and shopping centers are limited to operating hours until 21.00 WIB. This also applies to restaurants, food stalls, cafes, to cinemas.
