JAKARTA - Russian troops launched attacks on drones and last night's large-scale missile in Kyiv that killed 10 people and injured 38 people. Attacks also damaged settlements and other buildings in seven districts.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the attack showed the world Russia's response through diplomacy amid US President Donald Trump's efforts to end the war.
"Russia chose ballistics, instead of negotiating tables," Zelenskyy on X said, calling for new sanctions against Russia.
"Russia chose to continue killing, instead of ending the war," he continued.
City authorities Kyiv reported 38 injured while search and rescue operations were underway, with emergency services extinguishing fires and combing the rubble of the destroyed buildings.

Ukrainian Air Force shot down 563 from 598 drones and 26 from 31 missiles launched by Russia in attacks across the country.
