KPK Urges Families To Visit Prisoners In Rutan During Eid Al-Fitr

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) allows the families of corruption prisoners to visit prisons (rutan) during Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri. This visit was closed during the holiday last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, there are some rules that must be followed for families who will make a visit. This is done to prevent the transmission of viruses in rutan after this activity is carried out.

In addition to having to implement strict health protocols, they are also required to bring a COVID-19-free certificate.

"Visitors are required to use standard masks and face shields and equipped with a valid and valid Covid-19-free certificate, as evidenced by the results of Swab Test-PCR, Rapid Antigen and Genose," said Acting Kpk Spokesman for Enforcement Ali Fikri in his written statement, Tuesday, May 11.

In addition, each prisoner is maximum entered by five visitors without taking turns. As for the visiting hours are conducted as many as two sessions.

"The schedule of prisoner family visit activities for May 13, 2021, the first session at 09.00 WIB until 12.00 WIB and the second session 13.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB," he said.

Meanwhile, the implementation of Eid prayer for the prisoners will be centered at At Taubah Rutan Pomdam Jaya Guntur Mosque. This activity starts from 06.00 WIB to 07.00 WIB.
