Keroyok 2 Security Bali Airport, 6 Taxi Drivers Arrested

The perpetrators of the beating of security at Bali/DLOOK Ngurah Rai Airport, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Police.

The I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Area Police, Bali, arrested six perpetrators of the beating of airport security officers (securities) that occurred in the taxi parking area of Ngurah Rai Airport's international arrival.

The six perpetrators who were arrested had the initials IT (26), ATN (29), MLS (28), AIS (25), TN (20), and MIW (26).

"All the perpetrators have been arrested and are currently undergoing legal proceedings," said Head of Public Relations of the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Area Police, Ipda I Gede Suka Artana, Tuesday, August 26.

This case began, on Friday (22/8) night, which began with the dissatisfaction of a group of LJ cooperative taxi drivers against the policy of the central online taxi company which limits the number of orders.

This condition sparked emotions until the situation was out of control, leading to acts of violence together against Ngurah Rai Airport security officers who tried to calm the crowd.

The perpetrators beat up two security guards with the initials PP and AK injured.

The police also secured a number of evidences in the form of clothes used at the time of the incident, silver rings, blue hats, and a pair of white shoes.

"We also appeal to all parties to maintain conduciveness in the airport environment. Good communication is very important, so as not to cause disturbances to the safety and comfort of passengers," he said.

The perpetrators were charged with Article 170 Paragraph (1) 1e of the Criminal Code concerning the criminal act of beatings with a maximum imprisonment of 5 years and 6 months.

Currently, the six perpetrators have been named as suspects and detained at the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Police Detention Center for further legal proceedings.
