Ukraine Attacks Russia's Bryansk Oil Pump Station, Disrupts Supply Delivery To Hungary

JAKARTA - Mutual attacks between the Ukrainian military and Russia are still ongoing. Most recently, Ukraine attacked the Unecha oil pump station in the Bryansk region, Russia.

The commander of Ukraine's unmanned system troops, Robert Brovdi, uploaded a video on Telegram showing a large fire at a facility with lots of fuel tanks.

Meanwhile, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said shipments of crude oil from Russia to Hungary via Druzhba pipeline were stopped after an attack on the pipeline near the Russia-Belarus border.

"This is another attack on our energy resilience," Szijjarto wrote.

Unlike most European Union countries, Slovakia and neighboring Hungary, it remains dependent on Russia's energy and receives most of their crude through the Druzhba pipeline that runs through Belarus and Ukraine into Hungary and Slovakia.

Ukraine is stepping up attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, targeting sectors that play a major role in financing Kremlin war efforts.

Oil and gas sales account for a quarter of Russia's total budget revenue.
