DENPASAR - Police arrested two perpetrators of drug theft at Kimia Farma pharmacy, Denpasar, Bali. The stolen goods will be sold again to the stalls.

Two perpetrators named Isak and Hendra were arrested by denpasar police on Saturday, May 1 in Denpasar.

"These perpetrators stole drugs at the farma chemical pharmacy that was closed. He broke the glass then (went in) and took medicines," said Denpasar Police Chief Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, in Mapolresta Denpasar, Bali, Monday, May 10.

The theft took place at Kimia Farma Jalan Imam Bonjol pharmacy, West Denpasar, Bali on Friday, April 30.

The theft was known to a pharmacy employee named Habibati Qurrota. There are hundreds of stolen drugs such as merlopam, analic, prohiper, valisanbe including Phenobarbital.

Thieves also seized a mobile phone and Rp1.1 million in cash belonging to a Kimia Farma pharmacy.

"After checking on CCTV it is true that an unknown person entered the pharmacy and immediately complained to the West Denpasar Police," added Jansen.

From the investigation, police arrested both perpetrators. Evidence of stolen mobile phones and drugs was found.

"He wants to sell again in the stalls. Anyway, what he saw he took.  Nothing has been sold yet, it's a sedative," Kombes Jansen said.
