Megawati Helps Redmen Win Dramatically Against GS Caltex

JAKARTA Indonesia's flagship volleyball player, Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi, helped her team, Redmen, secure a dramatic victory over GS Caltex in the 2025 South Korean Volleyball (V-League) continued match.

The clash between the two teams took place at the Jangchung Gimnasium on Friday, January 10, 2025, WIB night. Redmen won with a dramatic score of 3-2 (25-23, 25-27, 25-22, 20-25, and 15-12).

In the first match of the fourth round of South Korea's highest level league, Megawati appeared so impressive. The volleyball player from Jember, East Java, managed to become the top scorer of his team with 33 points.

Red Spark started the first set with three points in a row, but the opposing team immediately equalized it. The pursuit of points between the two teams was completely unavoidable afterward.

Megawati and her friends were then a little relieved after successfully winning 20-17. However, GS Caltex immediately bounced back and put up an even hotter fight.

After winning the first set, Redmen immediately stepped on the gas with four points in the second set.

The advantage lasted quite a long time until the end of the set, but GS Caltex turned things around to make it 1-1.

Redmen started well again in the third set. The match was tough again and the final score was tight again.

In the fourth set, the match was equally hot until it was 11-10 for Caltex's advantage. Caltex managed to maintain this advantage so that the match continued to the set after the position was 2-2.

In this set, Redmen initially fell behind more of their opponents. They just managed to turn things around and continued to maintain the lead after 11-10.

This result made Redmen record impressively winning in nine consecutive matches. They are currently still in third place in the standings with a collection of 36 points.
