JAKARTA - Ukraine uses long-range drones to attack two Russian ammunition depots in the occupied Luhansk region.
Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) said the ammunition warehouse was in Bilokurakyne village. According to Ukraine, the warehouse location is located on an important railway line used to supply ammunition from Russia to the front lines, particularly towards Pokrovsk.
Pokrovsk is an important city in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, southwest of Luhansk, which the Kremlin has been eyeing for more than a year and has been a hotspot of fighting for months.
"According to preliminary data, the drones attacked the warehouses at least seven times," SBU said in a statement reported by CNN, Tuesday, August 19.
"SBU continues to attack the back of the enemy to reduce the offensive capabilities of the Russian army on the front lines. The destruction of enemy ammunition directly helps our army, who bravely withstand Russian attacks," he continued.
