"We have prepared ER services and specialist doctors, if at any time there are patients referred to Palu from Poso," said Director of the Undata Palu Hospital, Herri Mulyadi, as reported by ANTARA.
He admitted that he had coordinated with the Poso Hospital regarding the presence of two earthquake victims, who suffered two head injuries.
"Initially the patient wanted to be referred to the Undata Hospital, but with various considerations it was not carried out and has been operated at the Poso Hospital," he said.
He emphasized that the Undata Hospital continues to communicate with the Poso Hospital to monitor the development of earthquake victims, according to the order of the deputy governor of Central Sulawesi.
Previously, the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government (Sulteng) made free all medical expenses, for victims of the 6.0 magnitude earthquake rocked Poso Regency, Sunday at 06.36 WITA.
"All medical expenses are free," said Central Sulawesi Governor Anwar Hafid in Palu.
He emphasized that he had coordinated with various parties, to prioritize treatment and care for injured victims.
"I also instructed to immediately take him to the Undata Palu Hospital, if there are victims who need further treatment," he said.
