Police Arrest Konara Enumbi, Subordinates Of The Commander Of The Yambi Kodap

Cartenz Peace Task Force Personnel When Arresting KKB member Konara Enumbi

JAKARTA - The Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force arrested Konara Enumbi, who is a member of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) as a subordinate of Central Mati Enumbi as Commander of Kodap Yambi.

Head of Cartenz Peace Operations, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, said that Konara Enumbi was arrested in Kampung Expels Front, Puncak Jaya Regency, Papua Tenga, Friday, August 15.

"Law enforcement against perpetrators of armed crimes will be carried out firmly. There is no room for perpetrators of violence that threatens the security and safety of the community and officials in Papua," Faizal said in his statement, Saturday, August 16.

Konara Enumbi is strongly suspected of being directly involved in the murder of Brigpol Ronald Enok in Kampung Lima-lima, Pagaleme District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua.

In addition, he also acts as a member of an armed criminal group in carrying out shootings against security forces.

"This arrest is part of our follow-up and commitment to upholding the law and maintaining security stability," said Faizal.

During the arrest, Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force personnel secured a number of pieces of evidence, including: one Yamaha Vixion 150 motorcycle, one head noken, one brown jacket, and three packs of betel nut.

Currently, the suspect has been taken to the Puncak Jaya Police Station for further legal proceedings and development.
