JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined four witnesses regarding the alleged corruption of digitizing PT Pertamina's public refueling station (SPBU) in 2020-2023 today, August 14. One of them is Bobby Rasyidin, who now serves as President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI).

Meanwhile, Bobby was examined by investigators in his capacity as the former President Director of PT Len Industri for the period 2020-2025.

"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, August 14.

Apart from Bobby, the KPK also examined Judi Achmadi as an employee of PT Telkom; Binsar Pardede as SVP Solution Delivery of PT Sigma Cipta Caraka or a subsidiary of PT Telkom; and Heri Purnomo who is PT Sigma Cipta Caraka's VP of Procurement.

Budi has not detailed the material for the examination of these four witnesses. However, they are suspected of knowing the fraudulent practices that are being investigated by investigators.

"The KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses suspected of corruption related to the PT Pertamina (Persero) gas station digitization project for the 2018-2023 period," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at PT Pertamina (Persero). This time, the connection with the digitization project of public refueling stations (SPBU) allegedly occurred in 2019-2023.

To investigate this case, the anti-corruption commission has issued an investigation warrant (sprindik) in September 2024. Three suspects have been named but have not been officially announced.

From the information gathered, the three suspects are DR and W from PT Telkom and E as Director of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi.

The three suspects are suspected of causing losses to the state. This is because it is suspected that there was too much to pay for in the project which began when Pertamina imposed a policy of using the quick response (QR) code for customers who bought subsidized fuel oil (BBM).
