JAKARTA - A number of administrators of the Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the Berkarya Party from various regions visited the Ministry of Law's office, in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, August 13.
Their arrival aims to question the fate of the results of the National Conference (Munas) which they have held, on July 14-16, 2025, in South Tangerang, Banten. However, strangely, a new management decree (SK) appeared which they considered odd.
The chairman of the Working Party DPW of Central Papua Province, Rohedi M. Cahya, who was appointed as a spokesman for the DPW chairman forum throughout Indonesia, expressed his disappointment. He said they were grassroots administrators who had joined since 2017 and have been loyal supporters of President Prabowo Subianto since the 2019 presidential election.
"Our father, Mr Muchdi, are people we respect. His periodization has ended in 2025," said Rohedi. "According to the ADRP (Basic Budget and Party Household Budget) mechanism, we have to do the munas. And the National Conference has been completed on July 14-16, 2025 successfully."
Rohedi explained, in the National Conference, Muhammad Ridwan Andreas was elected by acclamation as general chairman, with Fauzan Rahmansyah as secretary general. This result was supported by the chairmen of the DPW as the owners of valid votes in the party. However, they were surprised by the information that there was a Decree Number 11 issued by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights after their National Conference.
"This is extraordinary, we did the munas, but it was someone else who issued the decree. This really hurts our feelings," said Rohedi. He suspected that the decree was issued based on a letter from another party which was allegedly immediately submitted to the Minister of Law and Human Rights, without going through the proper online procedure.
A similar disappointment was expressed by the Chairman of the DPW of the Berkarya Party of South Sulawesi, Muh. Arham. He emphasized that the National Conference of the Berkarya Party went smoothly and acclamation, without any debate or dispute. Therefore, he found it strange that the results of the National Conference were not immediately followed up by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
"It's funny if the Ministry of Law doesn't follow up immediately. Moreover, we saw the reason, it seemed like a very difficult reason to accept with logic," said Arham.
Arham criticized the reasons presented by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights regarding the administrative process. He accused that there were unprofessional procedures, in which files directly submitted to the minister could be directly processed, while the files submitted according to online procedures were hampered.

The chairman of the Riau Islands DPW, Abdul Latif, also expressed the same thing. He even suggested that the Ministry of Law and Human Rights' online system be closed if in the end it did not comply with the procedure.
"Why do we apply from the bottom according to the procedure, while from the top, it's finished today," he said in a furious tone.
Latif admitted that he was very disappointed with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. He felt that there was a big engineering that occurred behind the issuance of the management decree that did not match the results of the National Conference.
"We are very disappointed. We from the regions are the owners of valid votes, but instead the changes in proposals from the issued demisionary management," he concluded.
In response to this, the DPP and 32 DPW will request a meeting with President Prabowo to ask for further instructions.
